It makes a great last minute stocking stuffer too! (Which is especially helpful if you’re the world’s worst procrastinator like me – who hasn’t made a single Christmas gift yet. Eep!)

Mint Chocolate Lip Balm Recipe

Yield: 14 to 16 tubes of lip balm

Ingredients List

How to Make

Combine the infused oil, cocoa butter, beeswax, and chocolate chips in a heatproof jar or container.

For easy cleanup, you can use an empty, unlined tin can.

Set the jar down in a saucepan that has 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm) of water in the bottom, then place the pan over a medium-low burner until the wax and chocolate chips are melted.

Remove from heat, add peppermint essential oil.

Pour into lip balm tubes.

Allow the lip balm to cool for several hours or until completely firm. Cap and store out of direct heat and sunlight.

When stored properly, lip balm will stay fresh for 6 to 9 months.

    1. Hi Lorna! I have a big bunch that I bought from RusticEscentuals, but you can also buy them from BrambleBerry and I think on Amazon as well.

  1. Are the labels still available? The link didn’t seem to be working. I love this lip balm, we remake it every year!
