Get Plant Inspired!
Many years ago, I got excited about gardening and planted all sorts of flowers and herbs around our house.
Then one day, my husband innocently asked, "Why do you keep planting these things, if you never use them?"
He was right! I wasn't using a single thing that I'd been planting, because I wasn't quite sure how to do so.
That one simple question triggered a consuming passion for figuring out creative (and actually useful) ways to enjoy the plants that were growing around me.
This plant index is an attempt to organize some of my recipes and ideas into a "plant cookbook" for everyone to use. (You can find a ton more plant-based projects in my print books as well.)
It's organized into two parts: Things to Make and Plants A-Z.
Things to Make
This first section is a collection of my very popular "Things to Make" articles. Check these out when you're looking for some quick inspiration.
Plants A to Z
In this second section, the projects are organized by the flower or herb used to make them.
To make this section easier to navigate, I've broken the plant index into two pages, plants starting with A-G, and plants starting with H-Z.
Use the buttons below to navigate to the index of plants and projects you would like to explore.
