Handy Tools & Accessories:

A digital scale is essential for making soap and extremely useful for body care recipes, in addition to its usual kitchen handiness factor. I had this scale for almost 5 years before I finally wore it out. A great scale for the price!

This immersion (or “stick”) blender is highly recommended for making soap. It will save hours of stirring by hand and make success much more likely.

I consider this little food processor to be one of the best gifts I ever received! I’ve had mine at least 15 years and it’s still going strong. Useful for pureeing herbs, making baby food, chopping nuts and for mixing all sorts of concoctions!

I use this dehydrator by Nesco a ton! We obtained a hand-me-down from a relative, so before you buy, see if that option is available for you. My kids LOVE homemade fruit rolls-ups, but it’s also great for drying herbs, fruits and veggies.
