Natural Soapmaking eBooks Questions

Is the Natural Soapmaking Ebook Collection available in print?

  • No, this is a digital product only.

Do your recipes contain palm oil? Lard or tallow? Coconut oil?

  • All of the recipes in the Natural Soapmaking Collection are palm oil free. A few recipes suggest tallow or lard, but a vegan substitute option is always given. The majority of the recipes do call for coconut oil, but in some cases, substitute options are given. (Babassu oil makes a great stand-in for coconut!) You can also ask in the comments section of the Soapmaking Success Course, or use the Recipe Help Form if you have a question specific to the course or ebook collection.

Are these cold process or hot process soap recipes?

  • The recipes are primarily cold process, though instructions are given to easily convert cold process to hot process (See the Natural Soapmaking ebook.)

What kind of support do you offer? What if I need to ask you a question?

  • Besides the private Facebook group you can join, if you also purchase the Soapmaking Success course, there’s a comment section in each lesson. I closely monitor the group and course comments and try to answer those within 24 to 48 hours. You can also use my contact form to ask general questions related to your product. If you need help with recipe troubleshooting, use the recipe help form. (Depending on email volume, it may take a few days to answer, but I do answer everyone who writes to me!) :)

I purchased the Natural Soapmaking Ebook Collection or the Soapmaking Success course. How do I join the associated private Facebook group?

  • Visit the Natural Soap Making group on Facebook and click the “Join Group” button. You will need to answer the questions to join the group, especially the ones about which product you purchased and the email address used for the purchase. This makes sure that our group stays small, private, and spammer free!

When will I get my download link?

  • You’ll be able to download the ebooks (and related files) immediately after purchase. I’ll also send you a follow-up email saying thanks for your order and that will have a link to the files as well. If you order the course, you’ll also  get a separate set of emails from Teachable. Read through each one carefully. If you don’t get these emails (and they’re not in your spam, trash or junk folder) within an hour or two  - please contact me right away using the priority support form, so I can get your purchase to you in a timely manner. If you ever lose the files and need new copies, just let me know and I’m happy to send you a new one. All of our ebooks and related files can be downloaded 25 times and have a 2 year active download link time. If you lose your link during this time period, don’t hesitate to let me know!

How can I read PDF files on my Kindle?

  • You will need to email the PDF file to your Kindle device. Each Kindle has a unique email address associated with it. To know what yours is, go to Amazon.com → Your Account → Digital Content → Manage Your Content & Devices. Next, click the “Your Devices” tab and you’ll see all of the devices associated with your account. Each one will have a unique email. Send an email to your kindle @kindle.com address with the PDF file as an attachment. It should soon after be available in your Kindle library.

How can I read PDF files on my iPad?

  • PDF files can be opened with the free apps iBooks or Adobe Reader.

My download link won’t open correctly. What should I do?

  • Every so often a little hiccup in the system happens, especially with mobile devices. When all else fails, it usually works for me to send the files as attachments. If you’re having trouble with your download and would like to try this method, just fill out this Priority Product Support Form,  and I’m happy to help.
