Hi Mary! You only use the bag of the salts once. When you put in the bath, all of the salt in the bag will dissolve into the water.
The muslin bag (or sock) will catch the lavender bits, so they won&#039;t get in your water and make a mess.
So you can make a batch of salts up, then divide that into single use portions. I hope that helps and happy crafting! :)]]></description>

I have a question regarding  the bath salts. You stated the the salts would stay fresh for 6 to 9 months or until the color of the lavender flowers fade. My question is this, after you pour the salts in the muslin bag do you only use the salts once and then throw away, or do you keep using it until the colors fade? Dumb question I know but I&#039;m curious as I&#039;ve never made or used bath salts. I&#039;m addicted to making soaps and a few body butters and creams for family and others that I love.]]></description>
