Hi Elizabeth! Cornflowers aren&#039;t often used herbally, though the extract is sometimes used in skin care products to condition skin or soothe irritation.
Dried cornflowers also add a pretty blue color to things like teas, bath soaks, or bath bombs!
On the other hand, echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) has a ton of uses as far as fighting the first signs of a cold, or inflammation, and it has antimicrobial properties.
So they&#039;re two very different plants as far as benefits go, but they&#039;re both pretty in the garden and attract pollinators! ?]]></description>
